    Not in my experience. From what I’ve seen, the fallout 4 mod community is still pretty active.

      Its still alive, but a lot of the core framework modders are either gone(e.g. script extender, ENB) or have crossed to taking Bethesda money (e.g. Elianora and Kinggath) or are doing other things now.

        That isn’t necessarily a bad thing in terms of updates coming out.

          It is because the free mods they made dont meet the requirements of being paid mods.

          E.g. Sim Settlements is not viable for paid mods, in part because it needs the script extender to function, but also because it has multiple chapters and mods that plug into the core mod.
