Usually, only avoid lists are published, which leaves readers to do the labor of discovering what to use instead. This shows directly what could be used, and removes a lot of that discovery effort. I think I prefer this, it seems to be something I could enact real personal change from, rather than the avoid lists which seem to only induce hopelessness.
