Splitgate 2 has resurfaced at last with a new cinematic trailer and a PC and console launch planned for 2025. We spoke to creator Ian Proulx about his hopes that second time around, he can build the number one shooter in the world.
Ah neat! The first Splitgate was fun and I put a fair few hours into it. It felt like it had been abandoned by the devs after a while though (and cross progression wasn’t possible, which put me off playing it after I got a Steam Deck). I’m interested to see what they do with a bigger budget.
I skimmed the article so maybe I missed it but I’m heavily thinking we’re getting classes with abilities like the shield, extra health, and the time bubble from the trailer

OW2 is the only hero shooter that is not pay to win that has entertained me for long. I would love more options. Thankfully there are several coming out… I hope those don’t get greedy.

I just mentioned this game to my coworkers yesterday, and they had never heard of it. I loved the concept but it didn’t hold me more than a week.
Overwatch/TF2 classes with portals? Sounds great! (haven’t seen the trailer)

I chimed in on the steam page and did state im a little nervous about it going from halo style to classes but over all im really excited
