    Recipe for a liberal thought:

    1. Take an ideal, like “democracy” for example.

    2. Bastardize it into pure simulacrum. (i.e., Ukraine getting couped and banning most political parties etc. is democracy)

    3. Apply the bastardized ideal to create how one “thinks” things should be. (i.e., Democracy should win so Ukraine should win)

    4. Warp reality to that idealistic goal. (i.e. Nazis fighting for our side is good because they’re fighting for democracy. Or even, they’re not Nazis because they’re fighting for democracy - those are pagan runes.)

In this way, the liberal is always right because they have Good™️ morals and anything that achieves their goals becomes Good™️. For the same reason, any alliance between the Nazis and USSR is bad because they’re doing an authoritarianism and authoritarianism is bad.

for example: rules based international order means doing whatever America wants
