When I read a take I disagree with and think is stupid, I can post it in c/the_dunk_tank.

When I read a take I agree with and think is insightful, I can post it in c/politics or c/chapotraphouse or c/the_dank_tank (although the last of those three doesn’t get very much engagement).

But where do I go if I read a take and I’m not immediately sure what I think of it? Where do I put the takes that I think are flawed but still touch on something important?

I would like a new comm for this. It could be called c/dank_or_dunk. The premise of the comm could be that intriguing/novel takes get posted there and then the community decides if a take is “dank” or it it deserves to be “dunked”.

(Some possibly useful clarification: by “take” I mean an opinion column, a blog post, or social media post that expresses a clear stance on a given issue.)
