If a fcking coffee on starfcks costs 12€ and the coffee shop literally next door which has 50x better coffee offers the same or very similar coffee for 2€ and probably even has friendlier staff, the choice is simple. Starbucks is killing themselves. Pikachu shocked face.

I wish something like that existed here. I mean a place where you can walk in and out with a “good” coffee in 5 min. There are other coffee shops and their coffee is probably better, but they are all sit in, bot even much cheaper and it seems weird to just drink coffee. I just want my oatmilk latte, not a espresso that fries my neurons

I think there’s a large untapped niche for places that make no pretense at being fancy. Be upfront about buying everything from the grocery store, the value you’re bringing to the table isn’t the products, it’s the convenience.

I don’t give a rat’s ass if the food i eat at a restaurant is made from the same frozen premade stuff i buy at the grocery store, just don’t pretend like it’s got 3 michelin stars and only charge a price that covers cost of operations (including salaries and such)!

I and a lot of people simply do not have the luxury of eating at most restaurants, so when i go out i’m not looking for the best meals ever, i’m looking for decent food that i can enjoy while spending time away from home. I will frankly take premade grocery store frozen meals heated in a microwave oven if that comes with a nice view and a cost i can trivially afford.
