If you actually cared about making third parties viable, you’d think rationally and act locally to get ranked-choice voting or similar initiatives off the ground, and not just screech about national elections where they have no chance. Protest vote all you want. The reality is that in our electoral system, you’re doing nothing, with the possible exception of siphoning a vote away from a viable candidate whom you more closely align with.
