Not a video, but a resource. If you want to mass download playlists yt-dlp is the way to do it easily.
Thanks for that
I archived Tom Scott as soon as he announced his departure
I’m going to be moving to raw land to homestead. I downloaded a ton of channels about land, survival, building, solar, compost, gardening, etc. not sure I will have internet or even a cell connection so I find these videos very important.
Anything with useful audio in it. I dabble in voice cloning, making my own tracks, mixing music and effects, etc. I’m often on the hunt for useful YT videos with high quality audio in them. YT is a gold mine for music and people with nice voices. I would like to do similar things with video content, too, but I don’t know how to do that yet. (Before someone yells at me for ripping off content creators, I don’t use any of this stuff for commercial projects or share it. It’s just a hobby.)
I downloaded a video a really good friend uploaded to YouTube, it was of them speaking, the very first time I heard their voice. It was a private video, so I’m not going to share it here. It’s in a mementos folder where I’ve saved everything they’ve sent me, and it’s mutual as they told me they’ve done the exact same thing too, over the past 2 years.
I have a video of a news piece showing a penguin happily waddling around in a Japanese neighbourhood wearing a Pingu backpack. It is an important video, it makes the world happy for a few minutes. :)
I once donated to a MLP abridged animated series called “scootertrix”. Are one point I was afraid it was going to get removed from YouTube so I downloaded every episode.
Sherlock Holmes audiobooks - endless fun imo
