Calgary in the 60s had the most boring food imaginable. Pizza was considered foreign and exotic. Then people moved in from all over the world to work in the oil patch in the 70s and suddenly dining out became an adventure in new cuisines.

I have had to have elderly pets euthanized over the years when they lost all quality of life and have always thought I should have that option for myself if my quality of life became unbearably bad. If I am ever diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or some other dementia I will definitely choose it before I’m too far gone.
The baked goods taste stale and the coffee is overrated.
You may have to go with a European company, such as SKS.

You know that citrus fruit isn’t the only way to get vitamin C, right?
But… we can. We have been for decades.
Canada can’t grow lettuce and apples? Since when? We’ve been buying BC and Ontario fruit for decades. There are backyard apple varieties developed in Saskatchewan and Manitoba that are hardy to zone 3 and 2. Lettuce can be and is grown in hothouses in winter around the Redcliff area in Alberta. (Not to mention, it’s not hard to grow in your living room under grow lights.)
Now, off to pick some raspberries and tomatoes in my Saskatchewan back yard.

At least two Canadian toddlers have been held in U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody this year, including one who was detained for 51 days, more than double the legal detention period for migrant children in the United States, a Globe and Mail analysis of American enforcement data shows.
The children, who are under the age of four, were both detained at a remote Texas facility that has been the subject of a legal complaint alleging inadequate access to safe drinking water, medical care and legal assistance. At the time of detention, they appear to have been accompanied by adults who were also apprehended.
The toddlers are among 149 Canadians ranging between two and 77 years old who have been held at some point in ICE custody since January, when President Donald Trump took office and ordered an expansive immigration crackdown.
Did I say I was keen to allow ISIS people who keep slaves and murder for religious reasons to come in? No, I did not. You specifically mentioned rape and murder of children, which immigrants are not any more likely than Canadians to do. You seem to be a very frightened little man, scared of anyone the least bit different.
