  • Removing a post about that discusses how this site’s moderation policies hurt ND users when the comments and discussions were informative and respectful and talking about unaddressed site issues, is really hurtful.

ND inclusivity deserves to be discussed. There weren’t bad faith agressive arguements in the thread. Removing a thread discussing how the site is unwelcoming to ND people because of “metaposting” ON THE NEURODIVERSE SAFE SPACE COMM is horrible.

edit: also because the thread got locked i lost that comment I spent 30 minutes writing fml

  • @[email protected] you wanted to know about my tofu fried rice recipe a few days ago, so here it is

    Ingredients

    spoiler

tofu, chicken soup flavoring powder, brown rice, veg (usually I opt for carrots, broccoli and peppers), and these seasonings 1 [2] (https://badiaspices.com/product/lemon-pepper-seasoning-126-5/), and then the usual garlic/onion/salt/pepper

    Steps

    spoiler

For the tofu, I freeze it overnight for the nicer texture, (or just grab one of like the 8 ones already in the freezer) dethaw it, and then press it two times in the span of about 40 minutes to get the water out. Then I dice it, flavor it in the chicken soup powder and some lemon pepper seasoning.

For the veg I cut them in extremely tiny pieces that are slightly larger than grapes. (You don’t need to do this per se but it certainly improves the dish) seasoned with garlic and onion or a bit of the fried rice seasoning

I cook the vegetables first so that they become soft and well cooked, then I cook the tofu with it, add the brown rice when those parts are done, and sprinkle a bunch of fried rice seasoning in it and a smaller amount of lemmon pepper, as well as garlic and onion powder, and then cook to perfection.

I have probably made large batches of this dish atleast 8 times in the past month, and eaten it probably 20+ times.

In love with it, it’s helped me lose a lot of weight so far

  • yeah, probably… assuming good faith here (as everyone should, it’s the ND comm) but comparisons between covid masking and autistic masking just kinda feel bad. “keep the mask on” in the context of autistic masking is kind of like telling autistic people to get back in the closet, though obviously that is not how it is intended to be read
