I’m afraid climate change makes things more haphazard, not less 🙁

I hope you don’t take it too hard. Often the people who keep their jobs feel much worse than the ones who lost theirs, as a sort of survivor’s guilt.
I also wouldn’t be surprised if they let the people go sooner rather than later. Hopefully they get a good redundancy package.
I would have said January 😆. Four seasons in one day is kinda par for the course in spring.
Great, thanks, I’ll check it out!
Oh did you think that was the aim?
Oh nice! I have quite the list of things to work through now.
I’m imagining your little kid saying “How It’s Made fucking slaps” 🤣
I’ve got the first season downloading 🙂
Ooh I’ll see what I can find, thanks for the suggestion!
Thanks I’ll check it out!
There are Bluey shorts?! We’ve watched a fair amount of Bluey episodes, didn’t know there were shorts. I’ll look into it, thanks!
Thanks for the suggestions!
Ooh I like that suggestion. They would probably love the OK Go ones. I’ll have a look at They Might Be Giants music videos too. Thanks!
Not sure if it meets your hygeine standards, but we actually take the toothbrushes out of the bathroom.
Ooh great suggestion!
In my view, your title is telling people they are pronouncing it wrong. I think it would have been better to specify in the title that the word comes from Nahuatl and they pronounce it like so.
Yeah I really like the idea from the other article I posted in my comment where a school had people who would work with the families to help remove barriers to getting kids to school. Instead of using a stick, they worked with the families to increase attendance over time with reasonable and practical help.
The proposed plan here is more like sending the parents to the principal’s office, and if that doesn’t work then prosecuting them. It’s an approach that starts out assuming the families are evil and the government’s job is to punish the evil people.
I don’t agree with the OP here. Wikipedia does not say to pronounce it like the title of this post says. It says:
axolotl (/ˈæksəlɒtəl/ ⓘ; from Classical Nahuatl: āxōlōtl [aːˈʃoːloːtɬ] ⓘ)
And it has recordings to listen to. The first one here is how I have heard it pronounced. The second one does not say it’s an alternate pronunciation, it is saying āxōlōtl is the word that the English word axolotl is derived from and then says how to pronounce that. Unless you’re trying to pronounce it in the original Classical Nahuatl, then the first one is fine.
If you thought it was pronounced like this, then you’re saying it fine.
Hmm I guess “cozy” games are a genre, but I kinda felt like they are games that make you feel cozy, fun without the stress. If a game sucks then I don’t know I’d consider it “cozy”.
Awesome! That looks like hard work!
