This ties in well with my post “they grow grass fields just for the tax status and maintenance fees”. Critical of the vast hayfields that do more to protect dynastic monopoly land ownership in the western US than produce anything useful.
Also that as the US dollar collapses, the only real remaining currency is social status as determined by ones job title and who they subordinate. In a word where everyone in partially homeless and money is worthless, only property owners and managers have status that is traded among themselves. They just have to pay people in tenuous promises and token payments to get the desperate masses to labor under them. Where picking a job is less about who pays more, but who exploits you in the least tedious and degrading way.
WALKING IN A WINTER WONDERLAAND!
Its all petrol powered conveyor belt of used plastic that blows into the nearby shrubs or gets hauled into a nearby landfill. And 1000 trucks idle their engines in traffic. Your festival isnt sustainable its just rainbow themed pollution.
Donner Pass is just about 2.5 hours drive south west of Blackrock Desert / Burningman
Try THAT 40 miles from a small town.
Been hearing the “Lahaina fire was started by lazers” not just online but from randos I meet in person. And I’m beginning to suspect its another convenient “conspiracy” to deflect and distract from whats actually happened before and during the fire.
I kept shuffling video sources because every source I found was cringe.
What.
“We see you, we hear you, we want climate justice to. But please let my monster-truck with 110 gallons of gasoline into the bazinga fest.”
I could say a lot about this whole scene. Its kinda silly. But the characters speak for themselves lol.
Timber plantations to.
Power to first nations people, relatives and friends of Wilamet, of Ilahee, of Chinook, Kalipuya. Of the coast & Columbia river basin. Happy to see the ceremony went well.
