Sounds like a really good deal. I bought the 14“ with an M1 Pro 8c 16GB Ram and 512 GB SSD pretty much a year ago for 1900€. To this day I can’t complain and even with the M3 Pro with everything else being the same I don’t think I would notice a difference outside of benchmarks.

How did those happen, if there is a perfectly good path running parallel to them? Does the path flood often?

In my opinion, this is not as big of a deal as, since WebKit/Blink is open source. Everybody could just use the same engine and just build their version of the browser around it. Firefox doesn’t need to maintain their own engine.
