Dicks are some of my favorite public art though. Right up there with tits and ass.

Wasn’t Haaretz already accused by the Israeli government of being un-patriotic and even anti-semitic? Here’s hoping the article is more gloves off than the title implies.
Worst bartenders I’ve known would only be virgin by choice, and they would have a hard time with that versus the pushy bar-flies.
Wait, is that another layer of joke?
The “where” I was referring to was, yes, by jurisdiction, but also roads versus trails, and public vs private property.
Depends where you ride, iirc
I mean sure, but the things people are prone to stealing physically, when they wouldn’t otherwise but for price, tend to be those they must have just to live. That’s not the sort of consumption we can ethically reduce.
I think the rich are more prone to buying new items. Eventually the prices of used items will rise as a result of demand, but not right away. No one needs a new game console, and few could not meet their needs with a used PC or laptop.
Most in the US already have all of the above, but sure, this disproportionally “hurts” the poor.
The comment I responded to was regarding climate change and resource consumption, and piracy’s “impact” on them, so …
Where the hell have you been? Even I’ve already heard about this tyranical oligarch. Haiti has no effective government, and this fascist is largely to blame.
Nope. Climate change is a pollution issue. Reducing consumption can reduce pollution, but paying or not paying for a digital copy of something has effectively zero cost in the form of natural resources or pollution.
Everything I needed to know about school, I learned the first time I saw they would fire women over this stuff.
Californians are the reasons I left California. Just like Americans are the reason I want to leave this country more and more each day of my life, but still, nothing about that first issue has changed for the better since I left.
The PC parts pipeline is ever-so-slightly more diverse, although the article does say Laptop prices could go up by 46% …
Look forward to more machines being assembled in other countries before hitting US soil, same as is already done for appliances by way of Mexico. Lack of imagination and industry knowlege on the part of whoever wrote the article, or just the desire to fear-monger.
Frankly, prices rising is not something I care about. Taxing the rich has to start somewhere, even if its what the Dems should have been doing.
Seriously, where are the stop-blocks, and why is that curb so low?
Silver Lining. Fuck Consoles. Nothing that powerful should have most of its capabilities locked behind DRM, Licensing, and Walled Gardens.
A Pimp Named Slickback is more progressive than too many people on both sides, and basically all of the DNC itself. Fuck all that “homies before hoes” non-sense. The corpos and military-industrial complex are homies, btw.
I personally know many who wanted the US out of Iraq, Afghanistan, and Syria, and trusted Trump over Hillary to do it. I know no-one who openly wanted the same and voted for her. I myself voted third-party the last two elections before this year, and Biden has only escalated our entanglements in middle-eastern conflics.
Jesus, just look at Biden’s rhetoric on Israel and Iran. Its downright bizarely pro-war, pro-genocide(in its failure to remotely acknowlege such is happening), and absolutely tone-deaf to what voters want.
The fact that you yourself have now said what you’ve said on the topic proves the opposite of your claims. You know no conservatives today, and you mock the notion that anyone is against the war more than you point out any reason anyone should have voted for Harris over Trump.
Muslims were a DNC lock-in vote till now, and absolutely no-one failed to warn them that was changing.
The only significant policy change between the two was the legalization of weed. Can’t tell me its the weed that made Harris less popular. In the end, she got my vote, where Hillary didn’t, and still lost. Decades of conservative-lite policy momentum is a helluva stank, it turns out.
Wait, do people not realize that’s how the whole thing started?
