Well, the assignment is done and submitted. It’s not very good. Hopefully it is enough to pass.

I really have no interest/enthusiasm for this subject, but it is compulsory in the diploma. I guess I just see how I go half arsing it and if I fail try to kick myself into trying a bit harder next go around.

I had a dream I didn’t even do my assignment or read most of the subject material - oh wait, that’s real. Should get back to that…

Righty ho. I’ve done the washing, vacuumed, done a thorough clean of the plate rack, been to the food market, cut up strawberries for the freezer and gone to the post office to deposit some cash. It might just be time to make a start on that assignment now…

Airtasker can be great like that - I did the same thing to get rid of a wine fridge that Marketplace buyers kept not showing up for. I’ve had a bit of weeding and gutter cleaning done via Airtasker too.

Narrow staircases can be an issue, but movers can be pretty clever with stuff like that. I used to live in a flat above a shop which had an external spiral staircase up to a narrow landing to the door, the movers managed to get a neighbour’s double bed up the side of the shop below and lift it over the landing from the shop roof.

I have an assignment due today that I haven’t even started, so I’m getting lots of cleaning done 🤣

I also should have waited for more coffee. 25/50 I did get the bagpipes right, but not the bubble wrap.

Summer doona is now on the bed.

It is definitely frustrating. Some people don’t seem to have the skills to be able to organise a time to get things. I’m not sure if it is a communication issue or an inability to commit to anything in advance but I’ve had a few people that seem interested but just don’t seem to be able to make a time.

Three more cupboards gone! 🎉 Just four more to go. If I don’t sell them soon they are going on the naturestrip with a “free” sign on them.

Hmm. I’ll have to check the dress code. They specify what clothes you are allowed to wear, but I’m pretty sure it doesn’t actually state that you have to be wearing clothes. Do public decency laws apply in the workplace? Being arrested could also put a bit of a dampner on the day.

I don’t think the people at work will agree. I can see attempting to introduce this initiative going very badly for me.

I’m not sure I can support a general undies free day. Is you calling for this because you are behind on the washing?

There’s just something about “I’m a pensioner and I need to travel a long way will you give me a discount” that makes me want to say no. The attempted emotional manipulation combined with a sense of entitlement just pisses me off. Not sure why it pushes my buttons so strongly but it really does.
