How does an occasional music post around here sound? I don’t want to promise weekly or monthly or even that I’ll start right now but I’ve been listening to a lot of new (to me) music, particularly focussing on music with a woman’s voice (alternative / punk / metal to be specific). I’m also starting to see some pretty cool up and comers in my feeds. Itching to start sharing with people who are actually interested. Does this interest people around here?

A few months ago (on my original Blåhaj account), I posted elsewhere asking for suggestions on punk and heavy music with female vocalists. This is ended up starting a ball rolling for me, a new longer term fixation to keep me going for a few years in between the little obsessions lol.

Originally I was planning on doing on doing a post or two with a master list for people to refer to based on genre etc. I’d still like to do that but the more I discover and the more rabbit holes I go down, the longer term that idea is becoming. I also tend to get stuck on and obsessed with one or two bands or artists for a while, so it’s going to take time to really get through everything.

I’m honestly not too sure where else to post this kind of content. ‘Witches vs Patriarchy’ does seem like it should be more witchy content than this. But there’s no plethora of ‘blatant misogyny’ and ‘men and females’ type communities here like Reddit. And !feminism@beehaw.org seems like it’s more for articles and things of actual substance than memes or screenshots.

• My two older sisters, repeatedly throughout my life and in multiple ways.
• Various punk rockers for steering me away from potentially ending up like a stereotypical white South African always aligned with the worst of world politics like they do it on purpose.
• And more recently, I’m gonna be corny and sentimental and say you and everyone here for kindly accepting me around.
• And the Blåhaj community in general for being the best examples of open minded and awesome human beings while I was looking for myself.

I had this same issue and just tried force killing the app in settings, then clearing the cache. After that, my PieFed account is now working again. Hopefully it helps you.

Alright I’m not sure if I missed a sneaky update in the mean time, but I suddenly had the thought to try clearing the cache in app info (after killing the app first), then try again. And now I’ve been successfully able to log in with my PieFed account and everything is loading again. I’m suggest to the other user to try the same.

The person is your ‘self’ or your mind, the ground is your life, or experience thereof. This alone I think makes this an important issue to address. Clearly the porn isn’t satisfying their dark urges but instead making it worse and encouraging them to act it out.

I think this is more important to address than representation for a kink. It states “non-consensual strangulation” anyway and if that’s your kink, then uh, you’re probably in the wrong community for one thing. Also it’s practically a stereotype and joke now that whenever the dark side of porn is brought up, people rush in defend “kinks”.

It’s pretty fucking weird that we go after cigarettes and gambling and loot boxes in video games, but easy access to porn doom scrolling for all ages on the devices in our pockets is the last thing that anyone wants to address. I’m sure that consenting, knowledgeable and safe adults with this kink weren’t suffering before pornhub was a thing.

In my part of the world in South Africa, the only corvid type I ever (seldomly) see around is the Pied Crow. They’re also fairly large and I wouldn’t want to mess with an aggressive one. I’ve never really heard of people befriending them or having any particular trouble with them around here though. And I only ever see one, maybe two at a time.

I understand the sentiment but also, I should think a community called “Witches vs Patriarchy” would actually involve the “vs Patriarchy” part and not just be another !witchymemes@lemmy.world. And Andrew Tate is like everything wrong with the patriarchy rolled into one and one of the poster boys for it these days. So it comes with the discussion.

Yeah, I think the ability to add legendary fish to ponds was only added around the last update.

Honestly I haven’t messed with ponds too much, they seem like a time and resource sink for barely anything in return, but I don’t think that the fish could “look happy” with only one in the pond before this. But there is only one of each legendary.

So the dev (or devs, I hear he has a small team now) obviously just added legendaries to the list, without realising they now need a new language string to go along with only one fish looking happy as well.

Understandable bug and I imagine it’ll be fixed within the next few updates.

I think that sharing content here is more for showing things to like minded people. Maybe a reminder sometimes. Or something for them to look up or share to their social media or whatever.

I do not work with them nor am I associated with them in any way. This isn’t some new groundbreaking revelation. That’s why the clutching at pearls over trans people was such a fucking joke. This is literally just more information for the people who have actually been awake at any point in their lives and aren’t just finding out today that right wingers are disproportionately involved in child abuse.
