Any evidence Wikileaks withheld info about the right? They release info that’s leaked to them. If Russia used Wikileaks to further their own agenda, that’s not a Wikileaks problem (as long as the information is accurate).

My understanding is that, while it’s likely the source of those leaks was Russia, it’s never been proven wikileaks withheld info about Republicans. I’ve seen the claims dozens of times, but never the evidence, so please share if you do… Otherwise, it’s insane to hate a journalist for withholding information they don’t have, just because it hurts your preferred political party.

I had legitimate bans and completely ridiculous power tripping bans. I was always able to create a new account though. The trick is to mix and match different VPN’s/IP’s with different browsers/containers.

Every time I’ve joined a large group chat, I’ve always wished there were hundreds more people talking over the top of each other to make the whole communication thing more efficient!
Moreso the US oligarchy stealing tax payer funds and funneling them into the military industrial complex; using the guise of “aid” to conceal the reality.
I have zero doubt when we’re told “the US is the biggest supplier of foreign aid” much of that “aid” would make the average citizen feel the opposite of pride.

Although this might be accurate, what would be the true cost of gas if you removed all the subsidies and added the cost of fossil fueled warming from the continued GHG release? What will be the cost of gas if climate change really starts to pop and we undergo radically accelerated decarbonization? What is the projected cost of renewables + batteries + electric heating in 5, 10 or 20 years?
These are more relevant details regarding the building of infa that should be built to last, and is costed to last, for several decades.

Conservatives around the world are waging a last ditch effort (as always) on behalf of the fossil fuel oligarchs — against cleaner, cheaper, democratized, renewable energy generation.
They don’t want you to be able to power your home and car with the solar panels on your roofs. They want you to pay their cronies; a centralized generator, dependent on finite resources where all mining operations are also under their control, who can dictate the supply and demand of energy… meaning they can dictate the price of everything in society from the top down; the way they do with oil and all other fossils.

This, or the humble royalty, is most fictional hero storylines. I unironically believe capitalism uses these tropes to condition the people into believing feudalism, authoritarianism, and genetic divinity are justifiable.

If the western political classes hadn’t corruptly subsidized the fossil fuel oligarchy with trillions of dollars since WW2, the west would be leading the world in clean energy tech. Instead, exactly as expected, the same politicians and oligarchs who made fossil fueled warming an existential threat to life on Earth are continuing to hamstring the clean energy transition and deflect blame, by screaming “China bad”.
The corporate oligarchy would prefer to sow the seeds of fascism, nationalism, and xenophobia than allow legitimate democracy, make fewer profits, or give workers a fair share. They proved that when they outsourced as much as possible to China, and other authoritarian states.
You know those hundred’s of billions in fossil fuel subsidies, the US has stolen from the people and given to planet killers like the Koch bros for decades? All of those could have gone to domestic renewable energy projects, and the US might not have only been able to compete, but could have been works leaders. This exact scenario was predicted when China started to heavily fund clean energy.
The US has applied far more subsidies than China ever has; except it did so to maintain the status quo and enrich its wealthiest fossil fuel oligarchs, instead of listening to scientists and switching to clean energy. Now the same corporate oligarchs who corrupted the government to hamstring renewables for decades, are again pulling the strings and trying to further hamstring renewable adoption in the name of “national security” and “jobs” — both problems THEY willfully created for their own profit — and instead of turning their narrative against them, you continue to do their bidding and defend actions that will (conveniently) continue to enrich those same oligarchs. They are acting in their own best interests. Not yours! They never have, and they never will. Yet still they ask you to jump, and you say how high.
