This year alone, the U.S. and the ROK have further detailed a dangerous nuclear war scenario while breeding various sorts of war plots more than 20 times to use nuclear weapons against the DPRK, including the third meeting of the “Nuclear Consultative Group” and the 5th meeting of the “Extended Deterrence Strategy and Consultation Group”.

According to it, various strategic assets of the U.S. including the Theodore Roosevelt nuclear carrier task force, Bermont nuclear submarine and B-52H nuclear strategic bomber were deployed on the Korean peninsula and in its vicinity more than ten times and various forms of war drills against the DPRK including “Freedom Shield”, “Ulji Freedom Shield”, “Freedom Edge”, “Iron Mace”, “Nuclear Consultative Group simulation drill” and “Freedom Flag” were staged without a break this year.

The DPRK will perfectly defend its sovereign right, security and development interests under any circumstances and further intensify its practical efforts to ensure the permanent stability of the Korean peninsula and the region in a responsible manner and resolutely counter any threat and challenge in the present and future.

The more provocative act the hostile forces take in defiance of the DPRK’s grave warning, the stronger counteraction they will face.

they think it might be a satellite and not a part of the missile detaching

The text on the image translates to something like “2nd step of separation”. On KCNA and the KCTV video, there are 3 stage separation photos which are labeled 1, 2, 3. The photo is literally labeled by DPRK as showing a part of the missile detaching. The photo is meant to show part of the rocket detaching, which it does.

Would DPRK release a photo labeled as “stage of separation” and then the sleuths of twitter discover it’s a secret satellite? Why would DPRK include a secret satellite aboard an ICBM weapon?

DPRK does have a satellite which is not a secret. DPRK launched their first ever reconnaissance satellite into space in November 2023. I posted about it on hexbear when it happened. You even commented on my post at the time. The US responded by aiding ROK in launching a satellite.

Since the post doesn’t mention it, DPRK said that this ICBM is intended to be a defensive nuclear weapon.

DPRK conducted ICBM test-fire on Thursday morning

Pyongyang, October 31 (KCNA) – A spokesman for the Ministry of National Defence of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea said in a statement that an ICBM test-fire was conducted on Thursday morning.

The Missile Administration of the DPRK conducted a very crucial test on Thursday. The test-fire, conducted under the order given by the head of state of the DPRK, updated the recent records of the strategic missile capability of the DPRK and demonstrated the modernity and creditability of its world’s most powerful strategic deterrent.

Pyongyang, October 25 (KCNA) – Kim Jong Gyu, vice foreign minister of the DPRK in charge of Russian affairs, gave the following answer to a question raised by KCNA on Friday as regards a rumor that the troops of the Korean People’s Army are dispatched to Russia which is recently drawing public attention in the world:

I heeded the rumor of the dispatch of KPA troops to Russia, which the world media is building up public opinion.

The DPRK Foreign Ministry does not directly engage in the things of the Ministry of National Defence, and does not feel the need to confirm it separately.

If there is such a thing that the world media is talking about, I think it will be an act conforming with the regulations of international law.

There will evidently exist forces which want to describe it as illegal one, I think. -0-
