A lot of them are “data scientists” and it’s really funny how they seem completely lost when they don’t have a boss to build their opinions around. Like oh go figure the guy whose entire career is to compliment rich people by finding the charts they’ll like the most is actually not that great at getting meaningful conclusions from limited data.

This election is so fucking annoying. I hate the data guys, but they’re somehow more insufferable now than ever. Like the evidence does seem to tilt towards left-wing voters largely staying home. A few progressive issues in blue states underperformed and their explanation is that all opinion polling is wrong, and the entire nation had a sudden right wing shift, instead of the much more obvious conclusion that the electorate this election was more conservative than usual and than the nation as a whole.

I it’s more late millennial to early gen z, maybe some older millennials. The middle chunk of millennials can be hit or miss. Some are socialists, a lot experienced the 08 fallout but their college years and early careers were marked by the Silicon Valley boom. Like a lot I know are the most Obama years liberalism brained people you can imagine.
