Path of Exile 2 is pretty good. Wasd movement and a dodge roll are nice. Some parts are still rough, but it’s been out like a month.

I don’t really trust that just anyone will make something new and fun. Something that tries to extract money, sure.

One: Peter Thiel is a horrible person and I hope Saint Luigi visits him.

Two: They could chose to change their behavior and be much safer. Stop profiting from exploitation and suffering. You don’t even have to go all the way to being a “good person”. No one’s going to assassinate the guy who quietly lives in a 3BR apartment and spends his afternoons at the museum, even if he’s living off high interest savings accounts.

Yeah I don’t understand why he didn’t lay low for longer.

There’s no reason to believe Trump will be good for the economy, so I think it’s less “the economy, stupid” and more “the stupid”

I tried to get a grand jury to nullify drug charges once. It was extremely depressing. Everyone was like “but we have to follow the rules. They told us.”

Grand jury is simple majority. Everyone else voted to indict. Even the juror that was sleeping, snores and all, indicted on every charge.

Personally I like it a lot more than social media. I think moving everything to Facebook et al was a mistake

I had an NPC in a RPG that was kind of like this. A werewolf was going berserk in a church. The players were like “Reg! Get out of there!”. Reg sees the werewolf rip a corporate stooge in half and come running at him. He goes, “Bro. Fucking metal.”

Rolls really high on his social check. Werewolf high fives him and just runs by to go murder more corporate leadership.

Satire is dead. Not enough CEOs have followed suit.

I think we should raze the suburbs.

It’s some sort of irony that I don’t think things will change for the better without violence. The ultra wealthy that drive a lot of culture war bullshit, that enshittify everything for more profits and “growth”, who pollute the air we breathe and water we drink, aren’t going to just give up power.

I’m just so tired of everything being so needlessly bad. Stop shooting kids and teachers. They aren’t the problem.

There’s a supermarket I walk to most of the time. There’s a food co-op I also go to sometimes, but it’s a little farther and pricier. There’s another grocery store I’d go to sometimes when I was dating someone who lived closer to it. And rarely I’ll get something from some of the other little markets along one of the main streets.

Walkable, healthy, neighborhoods are great. This isn’t even a super expensive area.
