@russjr08 at first i’d probably want to see some famous people using this, so I have who to follow

@Karen5Lund @mastodon you don’t need a life ruining algorithm to make a site exciting, i know i’ve built plenty of high traffic sites since I was 10. there should be enough of interesting content to follow, otherwise people won’t join and if they do, they won’t stay. there are several great things FB did on it’s way to becomming a shithole. if mastodon implemented the things that worked for them and didn’t implement the shitty stuff, this could be big and really cause some changes in the world
