Munchkin. I guess nowadays hating on Munchkin is no longer unpopular, but when I first played it the game had a rabid cult following. I understand that it might be fun to play with alcohol involved and with everyone just looking to have a good time and to laugh at silly things happening, but as a game where all the players are playing with the intention of winning the game isn’t enjoyable to me at all.
Anno 1800 is pretty great.

I don’t believe it’s that simple.
First of all: The ban on plastic straws is clearly an attempt to distract from more pressing isses when it comes to protecting the environment. That said, outside of a few people with disability, straws are basically pointless - banning them has no effect on most people’s lives.
Herbicides/pesticides make agriculture more efficient. Banning an effective pesticide would probably lead to either decreased production of agricultural goods (bad for humans, especially poorer people) or an increased need for space (which might be worse for the environment than the pesticide itself).
Ultimately glyphosate wasn’t banned due to its impact on the environment, but due to its suspected carcinogenicity.
Doesn’t this apply to almost any form of power generation? Fossil fuels and raw materials for nuclear fuels are often imported from undemocratic or unstable countries. As are many of the raw materials required for renewable power generation and storage.
Using this as an argument againt nuclear power is as intellectually dishonest as the people using it as an argument against electric cars.
