If you’re suggesting using Nuclear as a peaker plant or to turn it off and on whenever wind/solar is not up for it then I’m sorry to say that it’s not viable. Nuclear generators don’t handle well being turned off and on.

Yeah, back in 2010 and before nuclear was the way to go but with the incredible advancements in solar and wind it’s no longer the best option.

Still shame on Germany for decommissioning nuclear reactors and deciding to build Nordstream 2 and burn coal as a replacement.

There are downsides to nuclear these days. Incredibly high cost with a massive delay before they’re functioning. Solar + wind + pumped hydro + district heating is where it’s at in 2024.

Yeah, I have a feeling that they will have very low morale because of lack of motivating factors. Desertion might also become a massive problem since this is one of the few ways to get out of the DPRK.

There’s already an idiot tax, a crossover costs 50% more than regular. Price is not an issue for people that buy these but a license, course and having the license easier to revoke for speeding in pedestrian zone might work.

I just want to put a small barrier between people and buying a car that’s may more dangerous than any reasonably sized alternative. If people want storage space they should buy a station wagon. If they want to transport for work they should buy a Caddy type. If they want to go outdoors offroading then they should get a licence on how to drive offroad and how to prevent front-over accidents etc.

SUVs and bigger cars are becoming the default choice and I think that’s a bad thing.

I think people should need a licence to drive anything that has a tall nose. The chance of fatality is really high for those cars and people need to be taught that.

I remember getting a bit lost there too. If I’m not sure where I’m going after 15 minutes of wandering I just look up a guide. I did that 3 times I think which for sá open world without quest markers is an incredible feat.
