Job openings on LinkedIn tell you how many applicants have applied, and there are usually hundreds for every application I submit, lmao. I’ve applied to dozens (maybe over 100) of jobs by now and I’ve had just two phone interviews as a result, both of which offered less pay than the job I was doing four years ago. Admittedly a lot of those applications are low quality (through instant apply buttons via LinkedIn and such) but it still blows to send so many resumes into a void and never hear anything back. Not working rules, but it sucks wondering how long the nest egg I’ve carefully saved over the last several years will vanish in just a few months of not working
