Was coverage CNN exclusive or what? How does that make any sense? Put all the media companies in there with cameras. How do we have better media presence on an Apple keynote than the presidential debate

Nah he’s just an average American. this shit is on fire
Try speed reading. Like faster than is comfortable. I was the same way til I realized my casual reading pace is too slow to keep me interested. I still struggle to get interested but once I am, zooooom
I hope so. I read atomic habits and it fed into my delusions of grandeur but nothing stuck. I don’t think it was written for us
Mine kept deleting my numbers and I gave up at some point. It was great, a decade ago
Liked. They make it worse every day, there’s just not a viable alternative. Without revanced and 5 different plugins on the browser, I’d have stopped using it already
I went from a Galaxy S20 to a Pixel 8 and frankly I miss the S20. Build quality sucks. My screen creaks and I hate the camera ridge especially. Whole thing feels cheap and it’s not even very root friendly anymore like Nexus phones, which is the whole reason I got it.
Pixel phones are garbage compared to Nexus line at the time. Android is garbage now too, like the OP said. Chromebook is gonna have to turn itself into a real platform with powerful machines and software to ever be relevant beyond disposal classroom computers. Frankly I think SteamOS has a better chance at making a comeback, and that’s a long shot.
The era of random apps trying to post on my wall made me never use Facebook for sign on. Well that, and Facebook
Never buy chain pizza at menu price. They all run specials all the time, that are around half off. They keep menu prices high so that they can constantly run buy one get one promos and specials to make you think you’re getting a deal. They also happen to gouge people who won’t bother checking the deals section
The amount of man hours this would require would bankrupt even Google. You’d be better off building a new index of whitelisted sites
A URL query is pretty damn low on things that make me feel like a fancy nerd. Add it by default to your browser’s search function so it applies to all searches automatically
It’s not scalable. Sure you could have humans comb through the most common 1000 or so results, but there’s got to be billions of unique searches every day
Wonder if that strictly means lessons learned in development, or if it hints at onboard processing like a Quest. I’ve been more impressed with smaller headsets like bigscreen than standalone units lately
You also need to factor in opportunity cost or concede that your free time doesn’t have value.
If you value your free time at the same rate that you work hourly, then suddenly it’s very hard to save money by spending more time. If you value free time as overtime equivalent, it gets even worse.
Fwiw the switch is also significantly more portable. I love my deck but I only use it at home in bed or on the couch. I wouldn’t really try using it in public.
Saved me a click through, I’m not mad about it
I use it every day in the same way I used to use Google. It’s great for quick syntax reminders or low stakes ‘searches’. If I want to know where to go in a video game, I’m always going to get an answer faster from chatGPT than Google, and it’s not the end of the world if it hallucinates, although that has never even been a problem for me yet. Meanwhile Google just indexes ‘recipe blog’ type articles where you have to scroll past dozens of ads and drivel before you get to the actual info you’re looking for.
If you treat it like old Google with a healthy dose of skepticism it’s a very powerful tool. My only complaint is that it doesn’t source it’s info so I can’t follow up or dive deeper very easily.
trackball mice
But why? These were never more popular than traditional mice
Nah that trash isn’t touching my phone unless I’m homeless and starving
