Denji definitely does not know about the possession and thinks Asa is like a super bipolar maniac probably. But given Yoru can’t kill Asa in this world ideally she’d just tell him.

So what’s the over/under on Iran launching Operation True Promise 3 before the election tomorrow is called? My gut tells me they don’t give a shit, and the attack will happen regardless of who’s elected and neither Trump nor Harris will meaningfully change US policy in West Asia so who cares, but there is always a chance Iran decides to do something Extremely Funny, not an October surprise but a November surprise.
Let’s get it! Ping me when it’s done, I’d love to read it.
I want to point out that it only passed the Senate because nobody knew what they were voting for and nobody bothered to block it. After they found out what the bill actually was a bunch of Senators came out against it, after they had already passed it.

Those “sources” are ones posted on Hexbear lol, the call is coming from inside the house.
A jet like this will mostly be flying over the Arctic Ocean, so they can let it rip there.
Glad that Qassem is sticking to the plan. There was a lot of buzz that Hezbollah was about to accept a ceasefire without any Israeli ceasefire in Gaza (which would directly go against Nasrallah). That is obviously not happening, given Qassem saying they haven’t even considered any of the many Israeli ceasefire proposals.
I jaywalk every day, so does everybody I know in this city, and I don’t think any of us knew it was actually illegal here. Glad it’s now legal but god damn was that the most unenforced law I’ve ever seen.
Ooohhh you’re talking apocalypse type shit? Yeah in that case bitcoin is fucked. However, so long as the internet operates as is, which I assume it will even if the United States loses hegemony, bitcoin will operate like gold.
Agreed, but losing Iraq and Afghanistan and Vietnam and Korea hasn’t seemed to dent the United States ability to force its allies to keep buying Treasuries. It’ll implode eventually, empires always do, but it’s more resilient than I’d like.
It’ll just be like gold. Multipolarity I imagine, forgive the meme, will be good for bitcoin.
Sure, but taxes are just to prove creditworthiness for bond sales. Governments are not funded by taxes. The US military’s primary purposes are to generate capital for the shareholders of defense contractors and be a big enough stick to threaten allies that don’t use dollars to buy Treasury bonds. All the other stuff, wars included, is secondary.
I think this is a fundamental misunderstanding of what the US military’s purpose is within American empire, and how it’s funded. Note that the American taxpayer does not fund the military, foreign countries with recycled dollars they accumulate from global trade do that by buying US Treasury bonds. And the military keeps “losing” but the shareholders of all those defense firms are quite happy. Long term sure the US is fucked if it’s military can’t even take out missile launchers in Yemen, but long is a rather long time.
“what if multipolarity but without the woke”; they’re kind of like MAGA communists but for Germany
Hezbollah is just cosplaying as a military so when they achieve strategic objectives in southern Lebanon by stopping Israel from making any meaningful territorial gains, destroying Israeli regiments, and generally making Israel’s “invasion” of Lebanon a complete and utter failure, it’s not Real it’s just play.
Looks like the LDP, Japan’s long time right wing ruling party that has been beset by scandals after Abe’s assassination (greatest assassin of all time keeps racking up wins) has lost its parliamentary majority for only the second time in Japan’s post-WWII history. They’ll probably still end up forming a coalition in parliament because Japan lacks any actual opposition parties, but it speaks to how much the tide has turned against the LDP in recent years given that they lost to opponents who are bumbling, chaotic messes who basically have no platforms outside of “well we’re not the LDP.”
Semiconductors are very important to the global economy, but TSMC makes the top of the line ones used for the newest iPhones and AI garbage GPUs. It’d be a huge hit to the global economy but there are tons of semiconductors produced outside Taiwan that are not Top of the Line that go into like cars and missiles and stuff. Israel is important to keep the Arab world divided and prevent them from fucking with the price of oil like they did in the 70s. If oil prices go sky high, you bet the global economy collapses way faster than advanced semiconductor manufacturing in Taiwan getting destroyed.
Likewise, the end of Israel is also the end of American hegemony and the dollar’s status as the reserve currency, since so much of that is tied up in the oil trade. America is not about to sacrifice its entire imperial project for some foundries in Taiwan that TSMC are building in Arizona anyway.
Remember when people were like “oh Fujimoto fell off, what is Part 2 even about, this is so boring, etc”. Nobody’s complaining now. Gotta let Fujimoto cook.
