If you are terminally online like I am you’ll likely recognize it as soon as you hear it. It’s been used in memes for years and is regularly used as a soundbite to annoy people. Lately I’ve noticed it used like a Wilhem scream replacement.

For example it’s in Bleed the Wicked Menace’s song Bodybags (around the 1 minute 30 second mark) and in the movie 2073 (4 minutes and 10 seconds in).

I’ve seen it used several other times and the context has led me to think it’s not just a nod to Internet culture.

It seems odd it’s made such a resurgence the last couple years.

Is it royalty-free or something?
