I am American so I can’t really answer but what would count as American social media?
I feel like it would be most large social network sites and an unpredictable amount of smaller ones
Big fan of SBC gaming, open source engine recreations/source ports, gaming in general, alternative operating systems, and all things modding.
Trying to post and comment often in an effort to add to Lemmy’s growth.

Did you know leatherman has a screwdriver bit kit that you can use with that and some of their other tools?
Lucky timing. A relatively popular Youtuber by name of Spectacles just released a documentary about the cult leader behind the Epoch Times.
You can watch it here if you’d like.
My pleasure. I’ve heard they are really pleasant to raise
It’s a silkie chicken
I don’t think it is in Tesseract or Alexandrite but I feel like I vaguely recall Jerboa, the mobile app, having it.
I’m pretty sure you can do that on individual subreddits as well. Do you mean on an instance wide level?
All good. I made a similar extrapolation the other day about pudding not seeming as popular because I wasn’t seeing people eating it or it advertised but after voicing my thoughts to a coworker I realized I’m probably just not anywhere near the target market. I’m not a sugar crazed child watching children’s TV networks and nor do I have kids myself.
That’s good to hear. I do feel like the instance stuff can take a little bit of time to get used to before it kind of just clicks.
Well to add onto my comment the title you posted was clickbait for starters and you didn’t attempt to rectify it in the body text. You could have quoted these two sections from the article and saved anyone who was interested some time.
Two years ago, the Lily Hill Farm’s website and online store went live, selling directly to customers beef that is pasture-raised “without additional growth hormones, antibiotics, or animal by-products,” the website states. And through their social media sites, Avery and Marc work to establish personal connections with customers.
Family farms in the United States are steadily going under as corporate packers continue to vertically integrate and consolidate control over the beef, pork, and poultry markets. Small farmers also struggle to compete with larger feedlots. They are aging, and few farms are being passed on to the next generation.
The thing is the article really doesn’t go any deeper into this. It’s all surface level stuff.
The Epoch Times is known for being a far right news source that foregoes good reporting if it means pushing their political agenda. The Wikipedia page I linked discusses this and links to a few pages that go further into detail but they’re probably most well known for spreading misinformation about COVID19.
It is understandably harder to even begin to engage with an article when you distrust its publisher and feel like secondary sources are required to verify anything it has to say.
I hope Lemmy’s internet points never become a thing people view as important. The way people act on Reddit to get a handful of up votes is embarrassing.
For those that don’t know this is in reference to Reddit’s process of “vote fuzzing”. Most explanations online explain it as altering the votes to prevent things like rigging the vote or an individual going to someone else’s page and down voting everything they’ve posted or commented. I think in reality it’s more obtuse and erratic. I don’t know if the level of “fuzz” varies based off the age of the post or the total number of votes.
Easy as well. Things like Bluesky could be a bit confusing for newcomers
I feel like this is a you thing. I bet if you started doing it around people others would start doing it without realizing.
This makes me wonder just how many copyrighted files the average person has illegally downloaded. There’s about 1,300 NES games and I think the total file size of all them together is about half a gigabyte for example. I feel like it wouldn’t be too hard for a casual data hoarder to have 100,000 files copyrighted files.
In a rare moment during the documentary, Gebelli revisited the original Final Fantasy gameplay and humorously remarked that the airship could have looked better if it were 10% slower. This self-critical reflection underscores his perfectionist mindset, even decades after retiring from game development following his work on Secret of Mana.
This was the only section in the article with any reflection on the series. The remainder is just hyping up his programming skills.
I don’t think either of those is simplifying the setup much. It sounds like it would just be eliminating one of the receivers or transmitters.
The Steam Deck and phone combination was just for an example. I would be setting this up with probably five devices. SteamOS is more or less another Linux distro so I could do something like play in desktop mode and use something like gPodder to play podcasts or input the audio files into Steam or if I wanted to watch a video use VLC’s always in front option for something kind of like picture in picture mode but it’s a lot of individual software solutions for something that could be done a bit more smooth with some kind of hardware mixer.
Because it’s what is readily available and affordable. I’d be down for eating ground up insects or lab grown meat. It doesn’t really matter to me what I eat.
Rereleases and remasters can be a hurdle. I was thinking about playing a Final Fantasy game about a year ago but got caught up in the pros and cons of each version and what games are connected.
From my understanding most don’t continue on the story but I believe one of the games has a character return, I think it’s Cloud, and I think seven was remastered and separated into two games.
Did you mean something else though? Like I said I haven’t played them
