EU Delists Russian Oligarchs After Sanctions Pressure From Hungary And Slovakia

The EU has removed a number of Russians from its sanctions list after pressure from Hungary and Slovakia, securing a deal to extend broader measures. The move highlights growing divisions within the bloc over its stance on Moscow, as Hungary continues to push for delistings in each renewal cycle.

The European Union is set to remove Russian businessman Viatcheslav Moshe Kantor, the country’s sports minister, Mikhail Degtyaryov and Gulbahor Ismailova, the sister of oligarch Alisher Usmanov from its sanctions list.

If the Hungarian people don’t want to be in the glorious Russian union state like Belarusians, they can do a maidan colour revolution to make their choice heard.
