    At least the story had a somewhat happy ending. I feel terrible for the kids, even though they got justice in the end.

      Happy ending? I don’t know if I’d call it that. It’s definitely justice, but often justice isn’t happy, and is OFTEN unsatisfying. This is a perfect example.

      Hopefully they can sue her, and take whatever little the killer had. It’s not like she’s going to need it, and if she ever gets out of prison, she’ll re-enter society homeless and penniless.

      There is some satisfaction in that, but those kids would almost certainly prefer their mother back.

        Yeah. You can’t really deliver justice in this situation. There is unfortunately, no true restorative form of justice that exists for murder. But I agree. Any material improvement that can be made to the childrens lives should be.
