If only I could! Someone turned on the PlayStation 2 graphics. But here’s the view my wife and I were greeted with last night.

Foggy, cold, and rainy with a hot cup of coffee is legitimately how I could start every day. Dreary weather is my heaven. Anyway, we’re gonna see what that Ublic Market Center is about before we go home.

The Ballard locks and nearby botanical gardens are also pretty cool.

If the weather gets better, you can kayak in lake Union.

Check out Golden Age Collectables in the lower levels if you’re into any comics, sci-fi/fantasy, or board games.

And I’m not sure if it’s still there, but Turkish Delight towards the end of the street level has amazing, well, Turkish Delight. And their baklava is delightful, especially pistachio.

If you have one on hand or can find one, taking a Polaroid selfie and sticking it to the wall is always a winner in my book. There’s also a door you can go through that leads to some steps and a window you can stand in to watch people like a viewing port it’s great. Someone else mentioned Golden Age I’d like to add that they have a small gum section as well if you feel inclined to add to the wall (which I strongly advise for the full experience)

The City hasn’t loaded in yet. Very much agree that foggy days in the PNW are a vibe.

Couldn’t agree more about the weather, I love the PNW “nice day” of clouds, mist and fog. If you have time, go take a silly picture with the Fremont troll, it’s near Gasworks which is also a spectacular view.

The weather is what made me want to move up here in the first place. Yeah, it gets dark for half the year, but I love the rain and fog, and how it usually doesn’t get to be a million degrees or icy. Plus we have some of the best coffee I’ve ever had.

I don’t love the rain, but I love that it doesn’t get super cold or super hot. We have been loving it up here for the last 2.5 years. We are enjoying Ballard with the breweries next to us.

It’s unbearably foggy and dreary like that 24/7 365. Would not recommend a visit let alone moving to Seattle.

Again: It’s terrible all the time, please stay away.

Funny, last night my wife and I were greeted by the shithole that is SEA, followed by a 45 minute wait for a shuttle to the car rental place. That airport is a joke.

(We’re exploring this part of the country, camping along the way and flying back home from Butte. If we were staying in Seattle we’d just use public transit/taxis)

Well, I hope you have a better day than you are clearly having.

OP great share and bummer. It is a beautiful city and setting indeed. Nature, just be like that sometimes, as I’m sure you know. Hope the trip was nice regardless.

I think they are victim of a missing /s here, I don’t think most posters noticed this was on a shitpost community because the OP is so sincere
