Nazis: Xi Jinping, Vladimir Putin, Kim Jong-Un, Chen Weihua, Trump voters, Bernie voters, Greyzone readers, Genzedong posters, tall people, short people, anybody who tore the “do not remove tag” off their mattress, etc.
Not Nazis: people who literally fought for Hitler in a battalion which comitted atrocities against Jews and Russians.
When it was made, it was grotesque. Now it’s reality.
That’s… sadly accurate.
“I suppose the Fuehrer is a Nazi too?”
“Uh, yes?”
“That’s enough! Insulting the Fuehrer! Come along.”

Keir Giles is an author and commentator. His most recent book, “Russia’s War on Everybody,” looks at the effects that Russia’s malign influence around the world has on ordinary people.
What a way to preempt an article
Oh dang, we’re at blood libel stage already?
At this point I wouldn’t be shocked if antisocialists started spreading rumours that Western children are dying because Russians are kidnapping them and draining them of blood to put in their vodka.
place your bets, how many days until one of these “respectable” rags puts out an article titled “nazis are good actually and i’m tired of pretending they’re not”?

They started doing that right after the end of the war.
honestly something they’ve been doing for decades
hmmm i mean usually they say Communists bad, but I’ve never heard anyone saying “well at least they weren’t a Communist” when referring to Nazis
Now?
Been posting this too much lately…
death to liberals
So much bullshit.
I know that I’m offering only a brief response, because frankly I don’t have the energy or the interest in going through the author’s claims point by point, but if I had to choose one thing to say it’s that merely being a militant anticommunist rather than an Axis collaborator wouldn’t have been a major improvement since plenty of noncollaborators were fucking scumbags anyway.
The next day, he went to Bandera’s apartment building at Kreittmayrstrasse 7, and in the stairwell, in the vicinity of the front door, fired the poison from both barrels at Bandera’s face.
[Enter laugh track, Seinfeld bass plays]
“simple narratives like “everybody in the SS was guilty of war crimes” are more pervasive because they’re much simpler to grasp.” i wonder why…
what an impressively idiotic article
Lets examine who the author is;
lol, lmao even
