    Genuinely surprised they didn’t try to frame the victim for something. I can only assume it’s because the bad cop broke into a house in the jurisdiction where he lived, not the one where he worked, and so the cops who first responded to the scene didn’t recognize him and instigate a cover-up.

    Atlanta police identified the deceased man as Aubree Clay Horton. Last month, the Atlanta Police Foundation hosted its annual “Crime is Toast” awards breakfast, where Horton was recognized as “investigator of the year.”.

    Of course they go on about the whole loving father and good neighbor bit after that.

    One described him as a loving father who was proud to wear his badge.

    Cool story. But apparently he didn’t have respect for that badge.
