      They already have! Many times!

It’s like they don’t even operate at a higher level. Just constantly scared of nothing because of horrid lies that are easily proven false and their reaction is always something along the lines of some kind of crude punishment or elimination of the thing that’s bothering them without any idea as to how it’ll really solve their problem. There’s no nuance, just anger.

Sheep are at least useful, these people are just mindless drones powered by fear. And the funniest thing is that I still wouldn’t ask for them to treated the way they want so many others to be because I actually have a basic grasp on the concept of universal human rights.

Stage 1 of reacting to anti-trans vigilantism: “Terrible! They’ll hurt cis people as well as trans people. But then they’ll stop, right?
Stage 2 of reacting to anti-trans vigilantism: “Terrible! They hurt cis people as well, but don’t care!
Stage 3 of reacting to anti-trans vigilantism: “Terrible! The point was just to be able to oppress anyone who doesn’t fit arbitrary gender norms!
Stage 4 of reacting to anti-trans vigilantism: “Terrible! We need to help people move from this state!
Stage 5 of reacting to anti-trans vigilantism: “Terrible! I don’t respect humanity!

Being forced to conform to social norms under pain of violence is disgusting. The fact people care so much about how other people look is fucking pathetic, and severely reduces the likelihood of me being particularly sad when I am told that, yes, humans have fucked everything up so much that, no, humans aren’t going to survive it.

Stop hurting your own children. Stop hurting other living beings. Try experiencing compassion instead. “I don’t understand it and I think it’s bad” is not a valid reason for hate.

        I don’t think it’s fear, necessarily always.

I think a huge amount of them are outright psychopaths genuinely looking for a legal/valid reason to hunt people.

There’s a reason the intersection of people who go out and hunt and kill animals for fun (not for food, bit sport) and people who actively harm fellow humans has an above average overlap.

They have to exert control over others through violence, to feel in control of their life.

This is my mother. A MAGAt that was forced into retirement. Now she feels the need to come to my house or call me and tell me what to do. She can’t handle not telling people what to do. I’m about to move far enough away to end the random visits and the calls, I can ignore.
