About 10 years ago I spent a christmas bonus on a really top quality winter coat because I was spending a lot of time waiting on cold commuter train platforms and figured it was a smart practical purchase. I haven’t needed to wear it in almost 5 years. It’s still in great condition. It may end up lasting me the rest of my life.
