In the US, red states have the highest rate of dog ownership, while residents of blue states are more likely to keep a cat as a pet.

    So it’s all Demo-cats and Re-pup-licans.

my family had both a cat and a dog. once, a candidate came to visit and try to sway our vote. he made the mistake of picking up our cat, and got his entire face shredded up. anyways, I later learned the guy was a democratic candidate. from there on, I assumed my cat was a hardcore Republican kitty…

Moṙ æn ekſtencėn v ð nocėn ðæt dȯgz aṙ mæskyulin kodid.

      spoiler

More an extension of the notion that dogs are masculine coded.

İt’d bı moṙ ækyṙit t ſeı blu ſteıtſ aṙ moṙ luıklı t displeı ð reıt v kæt onṙcip ƿitc ƿᵫd bı ėbzṙvd i ė noṙmėl ſėſuyitı n ėfliktid buı ð ku̇lt v “No Homo.”

      spoiler

It’d be more accurate to say blue stares are more likely to display the rate of cat ownership which would be observed on a normal society not afflicted by the cult of “No Homo.”

I love both a lot. I do feel that cats require more emotional intelligence to understand. Some people have no interest in learning their language, which is complex and just and intricate as dogs. Dogs just on average do more work translating for us

The dog people would have contributed more, but they likely left their shit in public spaces and/or other people’s yards.

How do we know that the cats didn’t cheat?
