    Why not? It’s not crossing an abyss. I’d be more worried about losing my footing than the bridge collapsing in any case.

    There’s a bridge I used to walk on (it was blocked off from public use tho) that was suspend about 3 metres above a river that was missing the entire middle section of wood floor planks, I used to had to walk across this thin bar on my toes while holding this rusted railing.

    I’d skip across this bridge.
