Have you seen the Sci fi channel dine minisereis from.the year 2000 and it’s sequel.miniseries from 2003 that covers messiah and children of dune? If you haven’t read children of dune yet just stop before part 2 of the 2003 series. I feelnthe need to advocate for it when dune is mentioned cause it has the time to tell the story better than Lynch of Villenieuve and despite the low budget I think absolutely nails.the aesthetic.

I also like horror! Well, I’ve been getting more into it. I’ve been trying to watch more of the original ones everyone has said are good to catch up on the genre. Usually I see like an old one and a new one. So I just saw Candyman and the Omen for the first time this last Halloween, for example, and then Barbarian. The Halloween before I saw Child’s Play and M3gan lol. Eventually I need to see Hereditary (everyone races about that one), the VVitch, and something else classic 🤔 Maybe I Know What You Did Last Summer or something.
Coincidentally I’ve also been getting into punk a lot recently lol. I’m also into Ttrpg’s and video games, classic nerd shit 😅
Ooh! What bands are your faves? I’m an absolute encyclopedia of DIY punk and punk adjacent music. Less so with horror films but if you want some low budget recommendations lemme know
