Piracy
Why is this a “Life Hack”? Because it saves A LOT of money.
It might be “wrong” to some people, but its not even controvertial for me. I’m bored af, and want more entertainment, the economy (not sure if “economy” is the right word) is fucked up, we don’t get paid enough. I ain’t paying a dime. (Maybe I might if we actually had a living wage, but most us are underpaid 😓)
Copying =/= Theft
Just Do It ✅️ (see what I did? I just “pirated” a trademarked slogan, IDGAF lol)
Also I don’t care about it if it were theft. I’d shoplift too if I could get away with it as easy as with piracy. Use Direct Downloads, or if torrenting, get VPN. VPNs are cheaper than like 10+ subscriptions and you get to keep everything you download, forever. You could also share the cost of VPN with a few of your fellow pirates (if the providers allow multi-device)

I still buy games that I know I will have good time playing from watching gameplay of others. Movies and shows, though, I almost exclusively pirate nowadays. Books are kinda 50/50, I buy them from official bookstores when I want to throw some money at the author I like (like Brandon Sanderson, who also earns bonus points for releasing his books DRM-free).
Speak less and what you do say might resonate more.
An accidental observation on my part. Nothing like that old selective mutism.
Don’t finish one thing before you start another. instead keep a special list of things you want to do and loop between them, as you get board of one move onto the next one. As long as you are determined to get everything done. And make sure the list is short enough so that you can actually get things finished after a couple of loops.
I find this makes getting things done much more enjoyable for me, and stops me procrastinating. just make sure none of the tasks on the list are procrastination’s in disguise.
And of course, rest when you need it. proper rest, not exhausting yourself thinking you’re procrastinating. Just rest, then carry on.
Mine is that if you’ve been cold all day, go take a hot shower But maybe a minute before you’re about to step out, turn the water cold and step in for at least thirty seconds. Then, when you turn off the water and open the curtains, it doesn’t feel cold. Everything feels warm relative to your skin.
Thirty seconds of suffering is worth the cozy warmth of stepping out of the shower. But my friends all think I’m insane for even suggesting that. It’s a bit controversial.
The body easily confuses temperature responses, it is the reason people dying of hypothermia take their clothes off believing themselves to be too hot. The cold blast might muddle your senses but does nothing good for your core temperature on a cold day.
