The only ones I’ve had much experience with are K’NEX bricks. The clutch was decent, but I didn’t like how rounded they were, and the colours were darker and less saturated. They also didn’t provide an easy interface between the K’NEX and Lego Technic systems, which would have been more useful, in my opinion.
