i dont know about you but i don’t think my defensive line will be at full strength if I just spent a massive amount of manpower to get mowed down by machine gun fire in a failure of a counteroffensive.

It’s obvious to anybody with a functioning brain that Ukraine is basically fucked now. They depleted their manpower, and even if they keep catching women, children, and the elderly in the streets, it’s obviously not going to be a trained, experienced, and motivated fighting force they had. They’ve run through western weapons, and the west openly admits they lack the industrial capacity to replace them. They can’t make their own. Their economy is crumbling. And on top of all that, US is now pivoting towards a war in the Middle East.

On the other hand, Russian industrial capacity is growing rapidly, Russia has no problem doing recruitment and has a far bigger population to draw from. Russia makes its own weapons, and already outproduces the west. Russia also completely dominates the airspace. And we’re already seeing Russia starting to make significant gains all across the front.

Given all that, anybody talking about a stalemate is an utter clown.

Russia secured the border between Ukraine and the break away regions where Ukraine had been massacring civilians. It has been mission accomplished for Russia starting at the point they expelled the Ukrainian military from those regions and fortified the borders to prevent Ukraine from retaking them. For almost a year now Russia has been using the Ukrainian military for live fire training exercises.
