I wonder about them for two key reasons:

  1. Why won’t they provide an end to end encryption?
  2. Why won’t they give an option to keep that little bubble green?

Seems awfully sus and anti-worker, if you ask me. Most other clients tend to have these as options and have even before Slack crept into the picture.

      I wish there was a lot more of that healthy suspicion going around. Far too many people seem to think it’s some warm and fuzzy thing built for them (the same people fall for Discord and so on, though) for altruistic reasons and then paid for by their company for also altruistic reasons.

      When the surveillance seems to be built in. No way to stay online (easily) and no way to encrypt w/o resorting to some third party stuff.

    Slack has never been pro-worker, they are pro-business.
