I recently got into making stickers and want to put them up places people will see them. I feel like I’ll get caught or it will be taken down. Places with lots of stickers won’t be places that new ones get noticed necessarily, though I will be putting a hammsick up at a local anarchist-y place. I don’t want to waste my hard work on something that will be removed. That Hamas logo is a masterpiece. I want to be able to say, like MC Ren, “I’m sneaky as fuck when it comes to crime.” Help.
I bought a big pack of “free Palestine” stickers, and I put them in bathroom stalls when I’m out.
It’s pretty low-risk, and I don’t really mind if they get taken off. The message still gets out there with minimal cost and effort.
I always leave some of the backing on, tho. I don’t want to make the cleaner’s life hard.
I heard that political ads are most effective when they are in bathrooms, because people look at them because they dont have anything else too look at other than the door.
And also because of the location, most people aren’t as likely to scratch it off. I mean, would YOU scratch off a sticker in a bathroom? I wouldn’t
That’s a good idea. The thing is, I don’t really want to buy them when I can make my own, but when I make my own they take more work. I think I might try some stronger adhesive and assume street cleaners won’t get flack for it.
That makes sense, best of luck!
If you’re printing them, also be aware of printer identification codes.
I inefficiently draw mine, but good to know.
