You wouldn’t download a Linux ISO

Come one guys, I thought you’d do better
Or would I?
That’s not a crime if the code is GPL licensed.

Why is she so bad
Wonder what itll look like if fedora and arch had a child… O.o
(Leading Edge) + (Bleeding Edge) = Seething Edge? Where you have neither bleeding edge software nor stability.

Oh look. It’s Bill Gates trying to look all cool and hip.
Look, I get it, you want all the free marketing of having your chrome-knock-off browser become a verb……
Yeah I’m not clicking that link….
(Edit: I lied. Morbid curiosity and I’m very disappointed. My money was on a Rick roll.)
You mean Manjaro?

Hey me too! Arch on my desktop and Fedora on my laptop. They’re both so wonderful. 🖤

A hat transports onto his head

Here is an alternative Piped link(s):

Piped is a privacy-respecting open-source alternative frontend to YouTube.
I’m open-source; check me out at GitHub.
What happened to Fedora FYI?
I use Fedora FYI
Nice, I use Kinoite JSYK
Ah, a fellow Atomic user
It’s wholesome to see people from other distros get along.
I use Fedora btw
I use Debian. I’m alone on Valentine’s Day :(
Debian is love, Debian is life. it’s even in the name!
Valentine’s day is temporary, Debian is forever.Yes. I’m alone because no one else is good enough for me! :P
Currently running Fedora on my ThinkPad T14 Gen 1, but the trackpad is hit or miss. It will either work splendid, or Tap-to-Click and scrolling are working 40% of the time…
I really like Fedora, but might just return to Ubuntu, as I had no issues with the trackpad there.
Try kubuntu. It uses (the imo much nicer) KDE instead of gnome.
I’m planning to switch away from Kubuntu after using it for at least a decade on my desktop and laptop machines. The whole snap thing gets annoying. Yes, I can override it, I know, but…effort. I’m planning to just go to Debian.
Just get KDE from the horse’s mouth then and use KDE Neon. Ubuntu packages, but snapd isn’t even installed by default. It also ships with rolling release stable KDE, but isn’t rolling release otherwise.
I’m not clear on the benefit of that over just running Debian. And aren’t there concerns about Canonical?
It just means your KDE version is newer, it’s also the distro made by the KDE devs. I’m not too worried about canonical, they’re annoying, but it rarely affects me.
TIL KDE has their own official distro.
however, KDE neon.
do i have to elaborate?
I didn’t know neon was based on Ubuntu as well, neat.
it’s very poggers
Thanks for the suggestion.
I have only ever tried Gnome (and a quick test of ElementaryOS and ZorinOS), but maybe it is time to try another DE.M
The best thing about this…
You can do Ubuntu AND still install KDE
Yeah exactly.
Not too fond of snap, but am trying KDE Neon now, as I’m a “experienced rookie”, but still have never tried any other DE than Gnome…

Oh to be young and in love…
Having used KDE Neon for 10 minutes, I’ve had no issues with the trackpad…
If this is Ubuntu or KDE, dunno, but liking it so far .
Fedora KDE is a thing too.
That’s not using Ubuntu which is what the user wanted.
how was your Ubuntu experience? Because i always felt like it could break any time: all this PPAs, need to compile lots of stuff yourself and the release model in general haven’t quite worked for me.
I could recommend you to try EndeavourOS if you had somewhat similar problems. It works like a charm, since its an Arch derivative but without Manjaro’s problems, which means it has rolling release model, so you always get the latest version pacages, and it has AUR support, which means you won’t ever need to clone and compile anything from github, as there’s 99% chance it already has its AUR, so all it takes is to type “yay -S *package name*”. Not to mention the comprehensive ArchWiki. It also has an i3 flavor. I fucking love i3.
Try pop. It’s basically Ubuntu without canonical’s nonsense.
On a laptop I had the manufacturer’s linux driver worked much worse than the open source one. I would recommend checking if any other drivers are available for your trackpad.
Mint Master Race.
My Gaming PC is Nobara(so Fedora) and my Notebook Arch.
