So I have just received a uconsole R-01 from a friend and while I mainly want to use it to learn how to code having a working browser would be nice.
Do you know any browsers that would work on it? Its a risc-v machine with 1 GB ram
Maybe something like Falkon or Gnome Web?
There’s also the min browser: https://minbrowser.org/
Here’s an Action Retro video on HaikuOS that briefly talks about the Fallon browser. It compares it to other web browsers.
Oh yeah, I saw that video when it came out xd
I also know someone daily driving Falkon, it’s quite usable
Here is an alternative Piped link(s):

Piped is a privacy-respecting open-source alternative frontend to YouTube.
I’m open-source; check me out at GitHub.
What are the system requirements? If it helps j found out its running a lubuntu fork
It seems to be quite a low power machine, but it’s definitely worth trying. They don’t really say anything about system requirements, but it’s pretty lightweight https://www.falkon.org/
K, will try when I get home
This is a cool - and odd - device. I’ve been eyeing the uConsole for a while, but haven’t made the plunge since its still in pre-order, and the actual device you got is build on Risc-V. This isn’t a widely adopted architecture, so you are in for an adventure.
Would love to hear what you think of the device. And if you get tired of it, PM me as I might be intrested (at the behest of my partner).
Well, mainly want it for playing around and exploring the architecture, and not willing to sell it. Tho if you want to get one, you should get a better model, the one I have is kinda weak
