Ju-On - The Grudge. I was probably too young when I first watched it but it was the one that got me truly into horror.

The Lodge was unexpectedly good.

Arachnophobia. Strangely enough, it helped me get over my fear of spiders.

Splice. Unfortunately.

Oculus was unexpectedly good. The ending is forever seared in my mind.

Poltergeist, but only because I watched it way too young.

Phantasm
