As the title says, I want to get into being more feminine with my voice, however, I find that I am highly inconsistant where I begin to slip out of it. I also dont know what parts I from my old voice should remain and what should change. It feels fake, like a unholy mix of micky mouse and logdotzip. Some of my best voice recordings make me excited but reminds me how fucked my default voice is. I swear, ive reached that voice almost instinctively whilst in euphoria and now cant find it again.

Some lovely folks here are starting up a voice training community on Lemmy, you can find it here:

Personally, this resource was what finally clicked for me after years of on and off practice. There are exercises that explain all the different parts of your voice and how to control them.

Yeah that happened to me too where I kept slipping back into my masc voice randomly. I did a lot of practice with the focus being maintaining the feminine voice for a few weeks and that helped a lot.

One thing is that resonance helps a lot with the gender perception of voice, so brightening it will help a lot even if you can’t get your pitch up very high. It’s also important to note that your voice should sound like however you want it to sound; what matters most is that you are happy with it.

I am working on gathering together all my resources and teachings through my own voice training with a speech pathologist.

Once I have it together I will send you a message ❤️
