I’ve been rewatching Haruhi Suzumiya and this brief shot has such nicely done lighting. Wish more anime looked like this.
Mods, ban this person. This is not an anime and is a mockery of both the site and myself.
Counterpoint, the Japanese call it anime tho.
I watched Turn A a while ago and never finished it because I got distracted by something, and when I saw this scene I was struck by just how beautiful it was.
Who knew, Tomino + decent mental health = Ghibli Gundam
this version is an edit where i changed the subtitles at the request of my partner, but it’s still really beautiful

Yeah, I know.
i just meant that it’s still very pretty despite the dumb joke edit

And Yet The Town Moves
Oh hey SoreMachi. The anime overdoes the fanservice, but the manga is excellent and one of my favorites.

𝅘𝅥𝅮 I see London I see France I see Hotori’s underpants 𝅘𝅥𝅮
𝅘𝅥𝅮 And also Kon’s and probably others’ too Jesus Christ where is this wind even coming from what the fuck do none of these girls know how to keep their skirts down or something 𝅘𝅥𝅮
—Anyways, yeah, I’m keeping my eyes out for the manga in local online classifieds and book stores and such. I would very much like to read it because I’ve heard that it’s streets ahead of the anime. And I really did enjoy the anime, even though it didn’t deliver on everything I expected, and the fanservice was a bit much.

The anime adapts the worst part of the manga imo.
What makes it the worst?
It’s the least interesting imo.
The person who introduced me to SoreMachi said that it had a lot of investigation or detectivework in it, but there was hardly any of that in the anime, so that’s what stood out to me. Was that what made those parts of the manga less interesting to you?
It’s been a while, but if I remember correctly it’s mostly a question of good characterization and horny diminishing.
I feel the same after watching Terror in Resonance. Hard to think of any other shows with the same muted, realistic colors. Perhaps Steins:Gate, but I like that TiR is more grounded in reality
Is that first image from the votoms ovas? Lol
yeah, brilliant shining heresy rules
