Yep, that’s the one, some are hard to reach but with how many there that I could reach, they were pretty handy for some games.

My thumb is brutal on the side of mice. I mostly play action games so I reckon I engage some kind of unconscious power grip when the red mist takes over. My last two mice I’ve worn in the side, and a bit busted middle click a bit.

I’ve got the G700 which only has 3 buttons on the side (but is otherwise much the same) and it’s pretty good, but I think I would struggle with more buttons. I have a game pad I can use for the other hand which works well in combination with the mouse for PC games, but I usually have to write myself out customised instructions for each game so I can figure out what I’m doing.

I’ve got some Alienware something or another and it has 3 buttons on the side and 1 below the scroll wheel for changing DPI (I think) and I don’t use any of them. The DPI thing changes the mouse speed, but got jammed and started doing it randomly which pissed me off so I turned it off. 1 of the side buttons goes forward in chrome and the other goes back, but I have no clue what the other does

The buttons on the Logitech are programmable. I have no idea what the defaults it came with are, I tend to use them for things like jump and sprint, depending on the game.
