I had to post a physical letter to the bank. I thought it would work ok because it is reply paid so I don’t need to try to organise a stamp. But apprently I no longer own any envelopes. I had to utilise my craft skill and make my own envelope.

Ooh I feel like I’m in a minority. Since letters kind of predate me (at least them being commonplace and written casually), I like writing letters to people. Pretty much the only time I practice my handwriting too. Unfortunately nobody ever writes letters back to me :(

Btw you can buy 100 envelopes from Kmart for 3 or 4 bucks. It isn’t a regular size letter (I think they’re A6), but a standard A4 paper fits if you fold it twice (one along the short side to make it fit in a standard envelope, then once again the other way to fit it in the envelope. Also if you (or any family members who don’t post anything and are okay with you doing a little bit of cheeky mail fraud) have a concession card, you can apply to the post office to get concession stamps. They’re indefinitely pegged at 60c a stamp (normal stamps are at like $1.80 now I’m pretty sure). You can only buy 50 per year though
